Overview
The Near Me platform was born from Desks Near Me, an online marketplace to lend unused desk space. I worked there as UX Designer.
At the end of 2013, and based on the technology created for Desks Near Me, we started working on the Near Me Services platform. My role evolved into Product Designer and I worked on the new platform product requirements, UX and UI with another designer and engineers, locally and abroad.
Most of my work at Near Me has been product design, including features and dashboards for marketplace owners, providers and buyers.
Near Me is a platform that powers P2P marketplaces
P2P marketplaces are hot. From Uber to Airbnb, everybody is talking about them. Entrepreneurs and brands want their share and enter the market on their own, but this is very time consuming and expensive. Near Me was created to help them by easing the marketplace set up and management.
